Responsibilities as an integration consultant at Healthonauts:

  • Maintain primary ownership for the design, build and maintenance of highly complex interfaces and other data integration elements;

  • Demonstrate advanced understanding of the data flow among applications throughout the client application architecture and works directly with the application teams to resolve complex data integration issues;

  • Demonstrate responsibility for testing the data integration components of systems, including any configurations, customizations, and new releases, prior to production implementation.

  • Actively lead and take ownership for the design, build and maintenance of system interfaces and other data integration elements;

  • Troubleshoot and resolve highly complex interface errors and other data integration issues;

  • Works with vendors to insure deliverables are met on time, in budget and in scope;

  • Works with application teams to assist with the design and execution of integrated testing.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a related field

  • 3+ years of experience in healthcare application integration (HL7 , FHIR, JSON, Web or Restful API Development, industry-specific interface standards (DICOM, CCR/CCD, KMEHR, openEHR, and code sets (ICD-10, SNOMED, LOINC, etc.) and interface engines and tools (e.g. Mirth, Cloverleaf, et cetera).

Literacy – a Healthonaut possesses a high level of digital and/or health literacy which helps them to profoundly understand care processes and determine how digital solutions can revolutionize healthcare for the better.

Analytical capability – a Healthonaut requires a high level of analytical capability since we need to understand how digital health can fit into an organization’s processes, defining the related specifications and requirements.

Problem-solving skills – a Healthonaut needs to be an excellent problem-solver, able to quickly change direction based on updated client needs and limitations, so the implementation and digital transformation are successful.

Leadership – a Healthonaut oversees and directs his/her companions throughout digital health missions. Time management and motivation are essential to ensure that project  deliverables are completed on time and based on shared decisions.

Entrepreneurship – a Healthonaut always takes the lead. With a proactive attitude, a Healthonaut listens to the client and deals with issues independently, while always knowing when to seek additional support.

Communication – a Healthonaut is responsible for communicating with team members, clients and external vendors, so excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, Dutch and French are indispensable.

3. EXPERIENCE & CASE INTERVIEW

We love this format! We get to discuss cases based on our own missions. The problems you will encounter reflect the challenges that our clients face. We want to explore our expertise and which approach you take to solve a problem, how analytical and creative your thinking is and how you would suggest implimenting your proposals.

4. CONTRACT PROPOSAL

We will make you a contract proposal that you hopefully can’t refuse.

5. WELCOME & ONBOARDING

Great! Once you’re officially a healthonaut, we will start up an introduction training mission to fully onboard you in our squad!
