Responsibilities as a product strategist at Healthonauts:

  • Deliver state-of-art strategy and innovation services to our clients, including workshops (envision, strategize and ideation), market analysis and solution mapping, prototyping, business planning, product development, and more);

  • Develop and implement innovation tools and methodologies at healthonauts to be a leading company in the digital health industry;

  • Cultivate a community and culture of innovation by continuously getting to know innovation-peers within our client’s organizations and potential partners;

  • Streamline events and major ecosystem engagement efforts (i.e., hackathons, community events, speaker series et cetera.);

  • Attend events and conferences and be able to clearly articulate digital innovation efforts and service offerings and share learnings.

PROFILE

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master’s degree in a related field (Engineering, Economics, Pharmacy, Hospital Management, IT);

  • 3+ of relevant work experience in an entrepreneurial setting at a healthcare company (e.g., hospital, pharmaceutical, life science, digital health, medical devices,  diagnostics, etc.);

  • Domain expertise in healthcare operations, strategy and business development;

  • Strong knowledge of healthcare technology trends, regulation, reimbursement and product life cycle.

Literacy – a Healthonaut possesses a high level of digital and/or health literacy which helps them to profoundly understand care processes and determine how digital solutions can revolutionize healthcare for the better.

Analytical capability – a Healthonaut requires a high level of analytical capability since we need to understand how digital health can fit into an organization’s processes, defining the related specifications and requirements.

Problem-solving skills – a Healthonaut needs to be an excellent problem-solver, able to quickly change direction based on updated client needs and limitations, so the implementation and digital transformation are successful.

Leadership – a Healthonaut oversees and directs his/her companions throughout digital health missions. Time management and motivation are essential to ensure that project  deliverables are completed on time and based on shared decisions.

Entrepreneurship – a Healthonaut always takes the lead. With a proactive attitude, a Healthonaut listens to the client and deals with issues independently, while always knowing when to seek additional support.

Communication – a Healthonaut is responsible for communicating with team members, clients and external vendors, so excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, Dutch and French are indispensable.

2. GETTING ACQUAINTED

Let’s start with an exploratory 30′-interview by phone. This gives us a chance to learn about your accomplishments, understand your motivations and passions, and hear why you’re seeking a career in consulting at Healthonauts.

3. EXPERIENCE & CASE INTERVIEW

We love this format! We get to discuss cases based on our own missions. The problems you will encounter reflect the challenges that our clients face. We want to explore our expertise and which approach you take to solve a problem, how analytical and creative your thinking is and how you would suggest implimenting your proposals.

4. CONTRACT PROPOSAL

We will make you a contract proposal that you hopefully can’t refuse.

5. WELCOME & ONBOARDING

Great! Once you’re officially a healthonaut, we will start up an introduction training mission to fully onboard you in our squad!
